KOLO Charity Foundation and Mentis ReHub: A Shared Path to Healing Heroes

Supporting the Rehabilitation of the Wounded at Mentis ReHub

War leaves deep scars not only on the body but also on the soul. After intense combat, soldiers often return home with significant physical and psychological injuries. This is why rehabilitation centers like Mentis ReHub are vital for returning to normal life. Thanks to the support of the KOLO Charity Foundation, this center can provide services to about twenty soldiers each month.

Mentis ReHub is not a traditional medical center; it provides physical therapy and wellness procedures, assisting those who have already undergone the first stage of rehabilitation. Soldiers who still have difficulty moving can turn here for continued treatment. All the center's specialists have higher education degrees in "Physical Therapy," ensuring a high level of professionalism and treatment effectiveness.

Thanks to the KOLO foundation, Mentis ReHub received funding of more than 450,000 UAH. This allows the provision of rehabilitation services to a large number of soldiers. Rehabilitation is not just medical procedures; it is adaptation to a new life and a return to active involvement. The center fosters an atmosphere of respect and support, helping patients to recover faster.

Recovery from injuries requires a comprehensive approach. At Mentis ReHub, each patient receives an individual program that includes physical therapy, fitness club activities, and much more. The center's atmosphere promotes quick recovery and a return to normal life.

The head of Mentis ReHub, Ivan Boychuk, emphasizes on the importance of funding: "If we didn’t receive funds from the KOLO Charity Foundation, these guys wouldn't be able to undergo rehabilitation right now. I can personally find funding for the soldiers, perhaps, about 100,000 UAH. This comes from donations from our clients, our donation jar collects funds, and the KOLO's funding is about 40% of the total amount. This greatly helps and allows us to continue our work, so we really need this funding."

Mentis ReHub collaborates with top specialists from related fields. This allows achieving high results in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients.
