The project "Thank you, Mom!"
For 10 years of work of BO BF KOLO, of course, there were many projects. Most continued from year to year and have a sustainable approach.
But we have one special - this is "Pospishayki." The aim of the project is modern equipment of hospitals that provide assistance in the rehabilitation of premature babies.
In 2015, the first equipment was transferred to the Children's Hospital Mother and Child Center named after Prof. Rudneva (Dnipro).
In 2017, thanks to the initiative of Ms. Khrystyna Romaniuk, the head of the Foundation (2017-2019), branding for the project was created, in particular the name #Pospishayki, a number of cultural and social activities were launched and the first all-Ukrainian fundraising campaigns for equipment were launched.
Together with our regular partners in this project, in particular the Line of EVA stores and their initiative Orange days, for 8 years BO BF KOLO annually transferred equipment for the rehabilitation of premature babies to the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Sumy and the region, Chernivtsi, Kamenetz-Podolsky, Odessa and Tarashcha, Kyiv region, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, Poltava.
IWCK, Luxoft Ukraine also joined the noble cause and new partners continue to join.
A difficult 2022 was no exception. In response to the request of neonatologists, our Spanish partners Aga-Ucraína transferred to the department of newborn therapy of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital a modern apparatus # ultrasound. But the sensitivity of its sensors was not enough for hasty crumbs. The device found its use in the children's department of the hospital. And the fund's team continued to search for the necessary equipment of the expert class and funds.
And now we have great news for our 10th anniversary!
On July 4, 2023, a modern ultrasound machine Samsung HM70EVO, costing 1. 356 thousand UAH, was put into operation and now the equipment is already used in the hospital department. Warranty and technical support is carried out thanks to our partners - suppliers of the company KSENKO.
The EVA Line of Stores initiative "Thank you, Mom!" and the fundraising platform helped to implement this complex and worthwhile project dobro.ua.
The project "Thank you, Mom!" started on Mother's Day on May 14 and symbolically ended on June 1 on the International Children's Day. The EVA network called on everyone to leave reactions, comments, repost their congratulatory post on Facebook, and as a result converted these interactions into real money - UAH 250,000 for the purchase of an ultrasound machine for prematurely born children from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. In total, the initiative raised 313,070 UAH.
Foreign partners joined the charitable cause:
Caritas Spain and the cultural platform CultUcrania, which collected, thanks to the Spanish and Ukrainian community, 5,000 euros of charitable donations at Nova Capella concerts
Swiss Fund Bär & Leu sent 5000 CHF
German SCHOECK Familien Foundation, thanks to which 14,000 euros of the cost of equipment were financed.
