Iryna Soloshenko’s Participation in the state forum YES
On February 24, the YES state forum was attended by Iryna Soloshenko, coordinator of the "Mobile evacuation" project of the "KOLO" Foundation Mobile Medicine program.
The annual YES Forum, established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, was held this year on the symbolic date of February 24th for Ukrainians. The topic of the discussion was defined as "Two years - stay in the fight".
Within the framework of the forum, 9 panel discussions were held, in which world leaders and prominent state and public figures of Ukraine took part. Iryna Soloshenko, coordinator of the medical projects of the "KOLO" Foundation, in particular "Medical evacuation", joined the discussion "The future belongs to us. But at a high price". The moderator was the Chairman of the YES Board - Oleksandr Kwasniewski.
During the discussion "Battlefield: Is the Tide against Ukraine?" Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Minister of Strategic Industries, noted the extraordinary role of the "Mobile evacuation" project, which is in charge of Mrs Iryna: “... you can see Iryna Soloshenko, who helped the medical volunteers, who helped Ukrainian Railways make the greatest story in the world with medical evacuation trains. That’s another story that would be examined, researched, and learnt after this war…”.
Today, 70% of wounded soldiers on the front lines have been evacuated thanks to "Mobile Evacuation". The project is an exact sample that we can only win the war together - when people, state organizations, and charitable initiatives work together.
The key partners of the "Mobile Evacuation" project are the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian Railways. In June 2022, Iryna Soloshenko received a state award for the "Mobile Evacuation" project. Also, on January 31, an awarding ceremony for volunteers took place in Kyiv, at which the KOLO BF team received awards "For assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine" from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. In particular, the project "Mobile evacuation" was honored.
The war in Ukraine continues, and therefore the project needs a lot of support and help from benefactors and donors.
